SEA PLANES

India’s vast coastline and over 40 rivers (big & small) allows ample opportunity for the likes of Sea Planes to play a large role in connecting people. River and Sea Ports is being developed across the country making it a very opportune time for Sea Planes and a larger use of river ways. The uniqueness of Sea Planes is that it can land even in large lakes which can be found in plenty in the North East Sector. They don’t need runways and thereby eliminating the necessity of large investment on infrastructure.

Over the period of next few years, Sea Planes are going to be a simple and effective ways of connecting two places in cost effective way. There are developments happening across the world where these sea planes are slowly getting converted into electric planes making them 100% eco friendly option. Not just that – the size and the carrying capacity of these Aircrafts are increasing as well. Work along with LEOTAUR team to explore and build this opportunity.

Water Taxis:

The central government of India is putting in a lot of effort in making water ways a viable medium for Passenger and Goods to travel from one place to another downstream or upstream. Water Taxis can be seen as an option of connecting multiple points on large rivers such as Ganga, Narmada, Krishna and Godavari. They can also be used extensively to connect between islands such and Andaman & Nicobar, Lakhswadeep Islands, South Mumbai regions to other parts of the city including Navi Mumbai etc. While long distance commute may be time consuming, in some case they usually are the only option

Water Barges:

Central Cabinet Minister for Transport – Nitin Gadkari once highlighted the cost of transportation between water ways / railways and Roadways as 1:6.5:10 with Waterways being the cheapest. India needs large water barges with modern navigational options. The world has already started exploring Pilotless Barges which work on GPS based navigation with built in sensors to detect obstacles. Work along with LEOTAUR Infinity Pvt. Ltd. to explore the market potential and bring about a quantum jump in the Water Ways initiative of India.
